Welcome to Mind Grace Therapy
Whatever has brought you here
Life can sometimes feel overwhelming. You may be experiencing anxiety, grief or loss, navigating changes in relationships, work or family life, or simply feeling that things have become difficult to manage on your own.
Whatever has brought you here, counselling can provide a space to pause, reflect, and explore what is important to you.
Choosing a counsellor is a personal decision. I hope this website gives you a sense of who I am, how I work, and whether Mind Grace Therapy feels like the right place for you.

About me
Hello, I’m Denise
I am a qualified counsellor holding a Postgraduate Diploma in Counselling from the University of Aberdeen and am currently completing my MSc in Children and Young Persons Counselling.
Before becoming a counsellor, I spent over twelve years supporting people’s wellbeing through my Pilates, yoga and mindfulness business. That experience continues to shape my approach: caring for the whole person, and recognising the close connection between physical and emotional wellbeing.

Some of the areas we can explore together
Everyone’s experience is unique, and there is no right reason to come to counselling. You may be seeking support with a specific issue, or simply feel that something isn’t quite right.
If what you are experiencing is not listed here, you are still very welcome to get in touch.

My approach
Counselling shaped around you
I believe counselling should be shaped around you. I work using a pluralistic approach, which means we work collaboratively to explore what feels most helpful for your individual needs, experiences and goals.
At the heart of my work is the therapeutic relationship we build together, creating a space where you can feel safe, accepted and genuinely listened to.
